It's like Nat said you need a powerful, small, power supply to power it and the chances of that happening in our lifetime are slim to none.

Not really. If a breakthrough is made either with fusion power or anti-matter generation and collection, it will be there. Alternatively, if a nuclear reactor could be made small enough to fit in there it might be a good power source.
