AWP Restrictions

What happened to the AWP restirctions that were in place?
It's hard enough to dodge 2-3 awps, but now with unlimited... it's insane. This server was a lot of fun (started here in June) but now, I'm just going here for the people. Honestly, if it wasn't for the core group of people who are here, I wouldn't be playing. Just wanted to throw that out there. If there are those who agree with me, let it be known. If I'm just being a pansy about being awped from 4 directions... let me know that too. I cannot be the only one wanting the old AWP restrictions back in place.

Also... I f'ing love Castlevania.

i agree with lawfer i dont like awp fest but i stay around cuz i like the community and it has been good to me but if it is for the better of the server then what the hell guess new things never hurt

Its just something that i wanted to try out really. Most of our servers do not have restrictions on guns. I was working midnights last week so i was able to monitor the server late at night. Most nights before the server died out around 1 or 2 central time. Now since this change there has been more people in playing until 5 or 6ish. I know there has been lots of Regulars not liking the change. I cant tell you guys if we will go back to the old way or not, I would like to see people playing all around the clock. I was thinking this could help, But if it becomes more of a problem then we can adjust it.

I started playing here 2 years ago because of the restricted awps. I hate going to other communities that have unlimited awp and just have an awpfest. Dont get me wrong I <3 to awp, but I dont like dodging 15 or so awps on the other side. 4 awps for 20 players is fun. I guess i might have to go and find another server.

lol that's pretty straight up. i never liked having restricted awps there, that's kind of why i switched back to office a year or so ago. maybe there could be a compromise between 4 and unlimited

there was a compromise back when i made the awp restriction. more players more awps. less players less awps.

guess i should know by now that no matter whats done you will never please everyone.

no doubt sio, and i know you do hard work to try and please everyone. maybe we can make a poll and try to get many of the d2 regs and others to vote.

I prefer it this way. In all truth the awp is an easier weapon to deal with than m4/ak really.

i honestly dont really see a problem, if it wasnt for this post i would not have even noticed that there isnt restrictions on awps anymore maybe i'm not playing at the right time to see the awpfest

I like the no awp limit to be honest cause otherwise the same people just hog the awps while the rest of the team camps around them waiting for them to die so they can get the awp.It seems with no limit on the awps there is more effort by people to actually advance and do objectives rather then camp.
I know some people love it and some people hate it.Maybe a compromise would be to rotate it like one week no limit and next week back to limits,then after a few weeks you could see which brings the most traffic to the server.
