mabye switch alltalk to teamtalk

i was thinking that mabye in the Dust2 server we could change alltalk to teamtalk when ur alive and when dead it could be alltalk amoung the dead players i believe this will make team work more efficent and also might quiet the server down a lil and may result in less arguments and admins having to mute players...

just a thought.....what does every1 else think?

I agree with this, although I don't think it will solve many arguements (instead of name calling people on the opposite team people will just start trashtalking amongst the team, but no matter what people will still trash talk anyway).

I do believe that it will improve teamwork though, wich would be nice.

I also agree , i think it would be a good idea cut down on some bashing and arguing that occurs when we are all trying to play and will improve on better team work...people who arent in vent will be able to say stuff to team mates with out worry the other team can hear and so on and so forth yall get the idea lol LaterZ.

I'm all about that, But you guys need to understand that if theirs only 1 admin in game and on CT, Then we will only hear that side until we die. So its going to be a little bit harder for us to keep the mic spamming down on the other team. If you get what I'm saying ??!!

this has been tried before as sio hinted in his last post. i personally like all talk more but when people abuse it you do need to take it away for awhile

i remember the server went from all talk, to no talk, to team talk, to all talk. back to team talk? sounds good :P

The talking cut down, will be great. However, The mic spamming is worrisome on a non admin team! However we have a fairly big community in our D2 channel I think we will know when its happening!! <3 Masta Kat

BadFish I agree with u, teamtalk would be great to be able to work together, but on the admin side we cannot hear mic spammers/racists while on the other team.

Plus this is a Pub, not a scrim.

i dont have much of a problem with alltalk being on but i could see where some1 would

and kat is right we have a big community and we all know each other well enough to trust when some1 tells us there is a mic spammer....also most of our regs are in the vent with us so shouldnt be much of a problem keeping a watch

Just a thought and this might have been addressed already but..........

Is their a way to keep the team talk when playing but have all talk enabled while only in spectate?

I think that would help the admins identify mic spammers faster rather then relying on the other players.
