I don't think so dude. When you go the route that every1 goes with forced induction and whatnot, yea you're right, but when its a way to make the car run better you can sometimes get both. Like when I swapped out the stock exhaust... See it had been restrictive and caused back pressure, so the engine wasn't working as well as it could, but now I got an exhaust with no back pressure because it's big enough. Fuel economy increased a bit and it got less throttle lag. Are the gains significant? For each upgrade I've done, no they're not. Not individually anyway, but this is something where the whole > sum of its parts.
