everytime i try to connect to teamspeak i get this error.

<15:58:48> Trying to connect to server on 74.86.201.242:9987
<15:58:49> Insufficient identity security level for this server. You need to improve your identity security level.

My client keeps trying to get security level of 15(which is default apparently) The server is set 8. i try to change my level from 15 to 8 and click connect and my client reverts back to 15 again....WTF!

You should only have to do that once. When you first connect, it should tell you that you need to improve your security, and should do it automatically. It might take a few seconds, but it will set it for you. If you keep on having to do it each time, you might want to make sure that you are launching it as admin on your computer and that TS has read/write access to the drive it's installed on (to modify the config files).
