For you who would like to block most adware/adssites/spyware/malicious sites completely, read this topic.

This hosts file will disable all those sites, and you can finally be safe from ad-cookies, and most "bad" sites.

Adblock does most of this instantly with no configuration.

yea but as most kids rely on programs to do it rather then learn how things work, i think this is a good thing to read.

Adblock.
Another useless, half asses program.
When you ass deep in viruses and trojans, and they keep calling home, you set u your host file, and its like turning off your internet.
They cant call back home.

Unless of course, your stupid enough to run the internet without antivirus software, and you get the BL2 viruses.

So, when you cant download your adblock, use the hosts file.

@siosios, add it to your networking help thread yeah?
